As a kid I always gazed up at the night sky in amazement. So many stars across the big blue sky. Many of those stars also have planets that go around them the same as our planet Earth goes around the sun. What many out there might not know is that all the stars we see are part of the Milky Way Galaxy. The Milky Way is a big place, some 10,000 light years across! So if you could travel at light speed, which is 186,000 miles per second, it would still take you an astonishing 10,000 years to cover it all! That is just our galaxy there are billions of other galaxies out there and many bigger than our own. For every grain of sand on all the beaches, there is a galaxy in space for everyone.
